Valves are utilized in several complicated control systems which can require an automatic control which is based on external input. Regulating the flow through the pipe to a changing set point is one example. These circumstances normally require an actuator. An actuator will stroke the valve depending on its set-up and input, allowing the valve to be situated precisely while enabling control over a variety of requirements.
